MISCHIEF: James E. Beauman, 16, 32 John St., lower apt., was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. A John Street man told Lockport Police Beauman had shattered a mirrored coffee table, valued at about $50. Beauman reportedly admitted to destroying the table because he was having flashbacks to an earlier traumatic incident. He is due Monday in city court.

ASSAULT: James L. Bethea, 31, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Thursday and charged with third degree assault.

LARCENY: A Simms Road man reported Thursday that about two weeks earlier he discovered his Raven Arms semi auto 25 cal. serial 209448 pistol was missing from the night stand in his bedroom. He added he might have misplaced the weapon and has been looking for it since.
