• POSSESSION: Two Lockport men were charged after a traffic stop at 4:10 a.m. Saturday on Allen Street. Peter R. Cassenti, 34, 6554 Lincoln Place, Apt. G was charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, false personation and obstruction of governmental administration. Alfonzo M. Maye, 37, 274 Church St., Apt. Left was charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and failure to signal. According to the report, during a search, a metal pipe used to smoke marijuana fell from Cassenti’s pant leg, and he threw the pipe to a yard. The police also located an off-white rocky substance which field-tested for cocaine on the driver’s seat. Cassenti, the passenger, had given the patrol a false name and had an active warrant from Niagara County. Maye was the driver.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Quaker Road man reported that some time between noon Wednesday and 2 p.m. Friday, an unknown person broke out the front windshield of his Kubota tractor that was parked in the side yard. The damage was estimated to cost $1,000.
