BLOTTER: Police reports published July 5


City of Lockport

• PETIT LARCENY: A Gasport woman reported a bicycle stolen Wednesday night or Thursday morning while it was parked at a bike rack 77 Main St. The green Schwinn was valued at $100.

Niagara Falls

• GRAND LARCENY: A Mohawk Parkway resident reported an unknown person attempted to take his $3,000 Polaris ATV at 12:45 a.m. Friday. His dog began to bark for no apparent reason, and as he walked outside, he noticed his ATV was missing. He saw the ATV a few doors down in an adjacent yard and a male running south from the area.

Newfane

• HARASSMENT: A teen reported being threatened while at Krull Park in Olcott watching the fire works Thursday night. He reported he was approached by the three males and one was holding a either a rope or wire and stated "your time is now and you are going to be killed."

• CHARGED: Darrin M. Brown, 18, 2770 Main St. was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol for a person under 21 at 5:22 a.m. on Friday, the patrol observed a large group standing in a circle. The patrol observed Brown put a beer bottle on the ground. Brown is due to appear Tuesday in Newfane Town Court.

Wheatfield

• INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: A plant manager sustained a severe bruise and possible broken bones in his foot in an accident Thursday afternoon. Len Giles was helping employees with boxes on a conveyer belt when his foot got caught between two conveyer belts operating in opposite directions causing his foot to be sucked down between the two belts. Adams Volunteer Fire Co. responded to the scene and provided medical attention. Giles was transported to Erie County Medical Center by Twin City Ambulance for further treatment.
