Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — City of Lockport

MARIJUANA: Joseph A. Smith, 23, 21 South St.. was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to signal and operating a motor vehicle without a license; Allan A. Scott, 33, 96 Locust St. Apt. 9 was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Monday. The police observed a traffic infraction on Monroe Street and could smell the odor of marijuana. According to the report, Smith only had a learner's permit and Scott, the passenger, did not have a driver's license. Marijuana was found in their possession. 

CHARGED: Andrew G. Clark, 30, 20 Oliver St. Apt. B was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance and second-degree criminal contempt Monday. Clark was stopped for speeding on State Road at 9:18 a.m. Clark's license had been suspended. He was issued four tickets. There was an order from Lockport City Court that states Clark is not to drive with a suspended license. 

Lewiston

MARIJUANA: Scott E. Kirch, 18, 429 Young St., Wilson was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and a muffler exhaust system violation Tuesday. According to the report, a Niagara County Sheriff's deputy saw Kirsch driving on Saunders Settlement Road with an extremely loud muffler at 12:01 a.m. Kirch was stopped near the  corner of Route 31 and Lewiston/Cambria Townline Road. There was an odor of marijuana and the deputy found marijuana along with a glass pipe in the center console. Kirch was issued an appearance ticket.
