BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 1

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — City of Lockport

CHARGED: Edward K. Washburn Jr. 34, 80 Genese St. Apt. 1-4 was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Wednesday. The police responded to a report of a theft and Washburn was located on Washburn and Walnut Streets. According to the report, Washburn had a knife and a scale in his pocket. He had a baggie of marijuana in his coat. 

GRAND LARCENY: Jared R. Person, 17, 101 Monroe St. was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday. The police responded to Caledonia Street for the report at 1:20 a.m. of someone breaking into a vehicle. According to the report, Person was found on Prospect Street. Person was told to get to the ground and the police located a tan wallet and pink purse. Person was identified by the victim and the items were returned.

HARASSMENT: Kevin S. Wise Jr. 22, 4445 East Lake Road was charged with second-degree harassment Tuesday. The sheriff’s patrol responded to Autumnview Drive in regards to a report of a harassment at 11:30 p.m.  The victim said that earlier in the evening he was at Jean’s Bar when he was confronted and threatened by Wise. The victim returned home and called police. According to the report, Wise was identified at the bar. Wise became belligerent and yelled obscenities on the sidewalk. He was transported to the Niagara County Jail where bail was set at $100.

WARRANT: Lynnann M. Moody, 25, Lockport was arrested by State Police at 8:09 p.m. Monday on River Road on a bench warrant. She is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
