According to the report, the deputy recognized the person as Ball from a previous incident that night. She was highly intoxicated, hypothermic and admitted to smoking marijuana that night and was transported by ambulance to Easter Niagara Hospital. On Ball’s request, patrol checked on her 14 year old daughter, who told the officers that her mother had said she was just going out a walk before leaving her at home with an unrelated male for at least four hours. The deputy determined that Ball was in no condition to care for herself or her daughter when she was found. Child Protective Services was notified.
