DWI: Valerie S. Buscaglia, 32, 11 Tudor Lane, Apt. 4 was charged with driving while intoxicated and a parking violation Friday.  Police responded to the report of reckless driver and found the vehicle parked in the middle of Erie Street at 2:30 a.m. The vehicle was running and Buscalia was at the wheel. According to the report, there was an odor of alcoholic beverage. Buscaglia’s speech was slurred and she failed field sobriety tests. Her blood alcohol content was 0.27 percent. 

DWI: Lawrence D. Grimes, 45, 234 Jackson St. was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to signal Friday. The police made a traffic stop at 2:09 a.m. on Washburn Street. According to the report, Grimes had glassy eyes and slurred speech. There was an odor of alcoholic beverage and Grimes failed to perform field sobriety tests. An open alcohol container was also found.

CHARGED: Robert J. Williams, 39, 6598 Dysinger Road, Apt. 9 was charged with improper lane use, aggravated unlicensed operation, criminal possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana, obstruction of  governmental administration and resisting arrest Thursday. According to the report, Williams was observed violating vehicle and traffic laws on High Street. A background check revealed that Williams had a suspended license. Police found a metal box containing marijuana. During the booking process, as the police were examining two plastic bags, Williams began to resist officers. Police deployed a taser. 

Pendleton

RECKLESS DRIVING: Harley V. Krantz, 19, 3401 Randall Road, Ransomville was charged with reckless driving, driving to the left of pavement marking and speeding Thursday. According to the report, the sheriff’s patrol observed a 2002 Toyota on Wheatfield-Pendleton Townline Road operating at 90 mph, exceeding the 45 mph speed limit, and driving left of center. There was light snow on the roadway and Krantz was issued  three summons.
