City of Lockport

CHARGED: Cedric R. Carpenter, 18, 17 Walnut St., side upper, Batavia, was charged with petit larceny Monday. According to the report, Carpenter took a $400 Kodak camera and a $300, portable DVD player while at a South Street residence on March 26 without permission. Carpenter was stopped on a traffic violation on Monday and arrested.

Town of Lockport

CHARGED: Alision M. Albers, 50, 31 Crosby Ave. was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child Saturday. According to the report, Albers and a juvenile placed items in their cart then took the cart to another part of the store and placed the items in reusable Walmart tote bags. Albers then gave bags to the juvenile to carry out of the store. Albers and the juvenile left the store without paying for any of the items. The items were valued at  $211.

Wheatfield

CHARGED: Shane T. Nelder, 30, 46 Race St. Buffalo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled susbstance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Saturday. The sheriff’s department was alerted to a vehicle with a suspended license at 11:30 a.m.. According to the report, Nelder has three suboxone film strips. Nelder was  turned over to the Niagara County Jail, on $500 bail  and was issued an appearance ticket.
