Rory L. Guild

BUFFALO — Rory L. Guild passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Medina, April 24, 1955, he was the son of the late Edwin and Dorothy (Bacon) Guild. Rory worked as a serviceman at Harrison Radiator for 30 years, retiring in 2005. After he retired, he worked for the Roy-Hart School District as a groundskeeper. Rory was a former Little League Baseball coach, referee for Section VI football, enjoyed golfing and fishing, and especially enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events.

Rory is survived by his wife of 21 years, Susan (Villella) Guild of Middleport; father of Stacie Guild of Middleport; Erik (Kristin) Guild of Waterport and Brian Guild of Middleport; "Poppy" of Brandi and Madison. He was the brother of Richard (Jean) Guild of AZ and Daniel (Debbie) Guild of Medina. Rory is also survived by his step-father, Leon Walker; son-in-law of Doris (late John) Villella; brother-in-law of John (Lynn) Villella and Amy (Daryl) Wilson. He is also         survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where a memorial service will be held Thursday morning at 11 AM.  Memorials to Roy-Hart Sports Booster, 54 State Street, Middleport, NY 14105, would be          appreciated by the family.
