Russ Alexander John Dunbar

NEWFANE —  

Russ Alexander John Dunbar, age 14, entered into rest on Monday, February 11, 2013. Born on October 21, 1998 in Yuzhno-Sakhakinsk, Russia, Russ is the son of Richard and Christine (Swiger) Dunbar.
Russ was an 8th grade student at Newfane Central Schools where he was a member of their JV football and Varsity wrestling teams. Russ attended Ridgewood Bible Church.
Surviving are his parents, Richard and Christine Dunbar; brothers, Kyle, Paul and Chad; grandson of Robert and Margaret Dunbar of Newfane and John and Julia Swiger of Greer, SC; nephew of Marci and Kent Brittin of Lockport, Mark and Donna Dunbar of Rhode Island, Craig and Carolyn Dunbar of Ohio and Lisa Long of South Carolina. Russ is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Ridgewood Bible Church, 7073 Ridge Road, Lockport, NY on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday from the Ridgewood Bible Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, Newfane, NY. Memorials appreciated to Ridgewood Bible Church.
