Norman Alexander Puff entered peacefully into rest on February 12, 2013 with his beloved family by his side. Born on August 7, 1935 in Lockport. He was the oldest son of Alexander J. Puff and Mary "May" (Brady) Puff. Norman retired from Harrison Radiator as Senior Engineer in the Tool & Dye Room. Known to some as "Stormin' Norman."
He was predeceased by his loving wife Anita on February 5, 2008; and sister Sandra Glenn. He is survived by his brother, Douglas Puff. Devoted and loving father to Patricia J. (Christianne) Puff, Kathleen (John) Cogovan, Pamela (Todd) Kaiser and Angela (Mary) Puff. Step-father to Vicki Sherry, Rick, Dale, and Mike McCready. Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Michelle, Ashley, Jeremy, Tyler, Jim, Kyle, Brett, Adrieanna, and Holly. Great-grandfather of Ciara, Sylvannah, Chaisey, Chanler, Jayden, and Erin. Also several nieces and nephews.
Norm had so many wonderful qualities and himself. He was strict and stern, yet kind and generous. Norm enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and gardener. He also enjoyed playing hockey and wine making. Most of all, spending time with his family and friends was a top priority on his list. Norm was a member of the Elks, Moose, and Clinton Club.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 15th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice in Normans name would be graciously appreciated.
