Anne M. Lucas

LEWISTON — Anne M. Lucas, age 99, formerly of Daniels Rd. in the Town of Wilson, died Friday, January 25, 2013 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Lucas was born August 30, 1913 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Vander Wal) Kloosterman. On November 23, 1939, she married Clifford A. Lucas and together they ran a vegetable farm in the Town of Wilson. Clifford predeceased Anne on August 24, 1998.

She is survived by a daughter, Carole (Howard) Records of Ransomville; a son, William (Blanche) Lucas of Lockport; a sister, Mary Manning of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Coleman; a brother, John Kloosterman; and three sisters, Henrietta Strauch, Jennie Mahoney and Johanna Walsh.

Burial and services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
