Genevieve H. (Kyser) Schlyer, October 3, 2012 in Newfane Rehabilitation, born on August 16, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late Howard F. and Edna M. (Lown) Kyser.
She grew up in Niagara Falls and Newfane and graduated from Wilson Central Schools. Genevieve owned Gens Realty in Garden Grove, CA, and was active in the United Methodist Church of West Lake Village, CA. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving her are Charles (Velda) Schlyer of Wellesley Island, NY, Lyle (Sandy) Schlyer of West Lake Village, CA, Dale (Debby) Schlyer of Wilson, Bruce Schlyer of New Milford, CT, Wanda Thistle of Penfield, NY, Lois Schlyer of Huson, MT; brother, Russell Kyser of MI; a growing coterie of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband, Harry Schlyer.
No prior visitation. Burial will be in the United Methodist Church Scattering Garden, West Lake Village, CA. Arrangements by the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson, NY.
