Patricia Castle Po-Chedley

LOCKPORT —  

Patricia Castle Po-Chedley passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 after a brief illness. A lifelong Catholic, she was born in Lockport, NY, on March 17, 1928, the daughter of Catherine (Sharkey) and Casey Castle.
Patricia attended St. John's Parochial School, St. Joseph's Academy and the University at Buffalo. Patricia married Robert B. Po-Chedley on May 10, 1952 and joined him in the operations of the family business, Po-Chedley and Sons, Inc. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Lockport. Patricia was also a Niagara Hospice volunteer earlier in her life and active with Literacy Volunteers.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Robert of Amherst, NY; her daughter, Ann Po-Chedley; her five siblings, Margaret Castle, Dorothy Krauser, Catherine (Totchie) Capen, Cecelia Buzynski and Peter Castle. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Peter) Frischholz of Lockport; and son, Robert C. Po-Chedley of Riverview, FL; her siblings, James Castle of Lockport and Suzanne (Robert) O'Connor of Palm Harbor, FL. Patricia's grandchildren are Joseph (Kathryn) Frischholz, Peter Frischholz, Michael Frischholz, Emily Frischholz and great-granddaughter, Margaret Grace Frischholz. Patricia is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Patricia will be held at a later date at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport, NY.
