Mary Agnes Simcoe

WATSEKA, IL —  

Mary Agnes Simcoe, 91, passed away on March 14, 2013, at Watseka Health Care Center in Watseka, IL. She was born on October 16, 1921 in Columbus, OH to Bohumil and Aloise Susil, immigrants from Valasske Klobouky (Czech Republic).
Mary married Charles in 1942. They were happily married for 70 years. They lived in the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois and New York. From 1964 to 1999, they lived in Lockport, NY, and were members of St. Mary's Parish. From 1999 until 2009, they lived in Albany, NY and were members of Holy Cross Parish. From 2009 to present, they have lived in Watseka, IL, where they were lovingly cared for by their daughter, Joyce.
Mary is survived by her spouse, Charles of    Watseka, IL; son, Robert (Ellie) Simcoe of Westborough, MA; daughter, Joyce (Frank) Simutis of Watseka, IL; son, Thomas Simcoe of Alexandria, VA; son, William (Elizabeth) Simcoe of Albany, NY; son, Richard (Laurie) Simcoe of Burnt Hills, NY; and daughter, Janice Simcoe of Pasadena, CA; sisters, Louise Bobb, Frances Wesley, Ann Shelhart and Agnes Evans; brother, John (Virginia) Susil; grandchildren, Jennifer Simutis, Frank (Katie) Simutis, Jeffrey (Melanie) Simutis, Robert Simutis, Renee (Brandon) Levine, Thomas (Ji Yoon) Simcoe, John (Kimberly) Simcoe, Timothy (Stephanie)    Simcoe, Robert (Pat) Simcoe and Justin Simcoe; and great-grandchildren, Frank, Andrew, Michael, Joseph, Katherine, Anne, Theodore, Lillian, Andrew, Kate, Sherman, Naomi and Esti.
Funeral  services Thursday, March 21, 2013, at 8:15 AM from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, thence to All Saints Catholic Church, Albany, at 9:00 AM, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Watseka Health Care Center, 715  East Raymond, Watseka, IL 60970; or Iroquois Memorial Resident Home, 200 East Fairman Ave., Watseka, IL 60970
