Jessie M. Wortman on March 9, 2013 in the care of Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Center. She was born in Barker on April 23, 1915 to the late Carl and Mildred (Nichols) LaPorte. Jessie enjoyed playing cards and getting together with friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her dear friend, Ruth Wylupek; and nieces and nephews. Jessie is predeceased by her husband James "Max" Wortman.
Burial will be private. Arrangements were made by Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, Lockport.
