LOCKPORT —
Richard W. "Richie" Dunn, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born on March 3, 1980, in Medina, NY, the son of Anita (Doug Chapman) (Burroughs) Dunn of Lockport and Danny P. (Janice) Dunn of Medina, NY.
Richie graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and was a laborer with Labor Local # 91 for the last 12 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, the outdoors and was an avid sportsman.
In addition to his parents, he was the brother of Danny P. Dunn, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Steven (Cheri) Dunn of Sanborn, Christopher Gardner, Andrew (Stacey) Gardner and Kimberly Gardner; his grandparents, Richard (late Audrey) Burroughs and William (late Elizabeth) Dunn; and was the uncle of Steven Dunn, Jr.; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM with the Rev. Jonathan A. Hunt officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in trust for his nephew and future niece or nephew.
