MIDDLEPORT —
Claude L. Munn of Middleport, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, April 11, 2012 at his home. Mr. Munn was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 25, 1945, son of the late Cyrus O. and Katherine (Hollobaugh) Munn.
He and his wife, Diane (Bagg) Munn, were married on March 26, 1965 and he has lived in Middleport since 1973 and retired from Delphi after several years of service. He enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and camping.
He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister, William Munn, Edwin Munn and Judy Ruppereht. He is survived by his wife, Diane L. Munn; four children, Christopher C. (Melissa) Munn of North Tonawanda, William Munn and Sylvester Gonzalez, both of Orlando, Florida and Glen (Angela) Munn of Barker; also surviving are nine grandchildren, Nicholas Munn, Coty Munn, Brandon Munn, Katelyn Munn, Samantha Munn, Jamie Munn, Julia Munn, Jake Munn and Jessica Pierce; two great-grandchildren, Eva Pierce and Emma McKenzie; two sisters, Alice Robinson of Maine, Katherine Pettigrew of Georgia; a brother, Jeffrey Munn of Middleport; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Acacia Park Resthaven Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY. Memorials to the Lake Plains Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the Munn family.
