William C. Conley

LOCKPORT —  

William C. Conley entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2012, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born February 6, 1932, in Lockport, he was the son of the late Francis and Marie Liskoff Conley. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Bill worked in management for Simonds, Saw and Steel in Lockport for many years. He was and avid golfer and bowler, and especially loved spending time with his family. Bill is predeceased by his wife, Suzanne, who passed away on September of 1997.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Karen Sanacore and Sharon (Dana) Secrist, both of Lockport; his grandchildren, Kristen (Chet) Secrist, Bradley (Wendy) Sanacore, Allison (Michael) Richardson and Michelle Secrist; great-grandfather of Brayden, Brenna and Cadence. Bill was the brother of Richard (Sally) Conley, Eugene (Connie) Conley and Barbara (Edward) Pytko, all of Lockport, Carol (Dwight) Sossong and Bonita (Dale) Waderich, both of Rochester and the late Raymond Conley and Marilyn Sobieraski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum. Memorials to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
