LOCKPORT —
Maurice H. Gaskill, Jr., age 71, of Lockport, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Eastern Niagara Hospital at Newfane. Born on May 28, 1941 in Lockport, he is the son of the late Maurice H. and Emily (Kill) Gaskill, Sr.
Maurice married Nellie Mae Greene on January 8, 1972 in Gasport. He had worked at Packaging Corporation in Lockport as a press operator. He had lived in Gasport until 2000, when he moved to New Mexico and finally to Lockport.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nellie Mae Gaskill. Dear father of Kevin (Colleen) Gaskill of Lockport, Brian Gaskill of Cuba, Kimberly (Glenn) Lubera of Logan, New Mexico and Christopher (Theresa) Gaskill of Gasport. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Louise Gaskill. Father-in-law of Sheila of Florida. Grandfather of Jessica, Adam, Ashley, Stephanie, Danielle, Leah, Jared and Zoe. Great-grandfather of Alexis, Madison, Lilly and Kendall. Son-in-law of Dorothy L. Greene of North Tonawanda. Brother of Betty Bucolo (the late Michael (Bucolo) of Gasport, Margaret (James) Lambulzer of Gasport and Richard (Doris) Gaskill of Michigan. Maurice is also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Maurice at Orangeport Union Cemetery, 4090 Orangeport Road, Gasport, NY, on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Arrangements entrusted to the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, Gasport, NY. Flowers gratefully declined.
