Marie L. Maslowski passed away July 26, 2012 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls on August 15, 1914, she was the daughter of Alexander and Katherine (Klos) Walezak. Marie worked as a clerk in the production department at Harrison Radiator for many years. She traveled world-wide with the UAW Travel Club. She was also a member of the Camera Club, Organ Society, many different garden clubs. She loved her roses and African violets. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Walter Maslowski, in 1975.
Marie is survived by her son, Walter (Judith) Maslowski of Key West, FL; grandmother of Rebecca (Nick) Pietruszka of Boca Raton, FL, and Stephen Maslowski of Oak Creek, WI; great- grandmother of Grace, Jane and Elyse Pietruszka; sister of Helen Walezak of Tonawanda, NY and the late Felix (late Helen) Walezak of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews and their families, and many cousins and friends.
A memorial Mass in memory of Marie will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Cold Spring Cemetery. Online condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
