Pearl Elizabeth (Meade-Harrison) Brandl peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012. Born on January 9, 1930 in Greene, New York, she was 82. She remained devoted to her husband, Charles Brandl, who predeceased her in 1975.
Pearl attended various schools growing up, graduating from Barker High School, then settling in Lockport for the remainder of her life. She was active in Girl Scouts for several years as a troop leader and council member. She was also an Avon representative for nearly 50 years, receiving numerous awards for sales and service to her customers and friends.
Pearl is survived by her children, Cynthia (Samuel) Corrieri and David A. Brandl; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Fenzel and Alexander Brandl; her great-granddaughter, Marlie Brandl; and brother Roger (Sally) Harrison. She is predeceased by her grandson, David C. Brandl.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 PM at Lockport United Church of Christ, 98 East Ave. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM in the church. Memorials to the church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
