WRIGHTS CORNERS —
Caroline M. Flynn of Wrights Corners, NY, wife of the late Edward E. Flynn, Sr., entered into rest on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in Newfane Health Care Facility. She was born in Gallitzin, PA, on August 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Howard and Viola Goldie Lego.
She married Edward E. Flynn, Sr. on May 22, 1943 in Portage, PA. He died on June 17, 1998. They moved to Wrights Corners in 1956 from Pennsylvania. Caroline enjoyed cards, puzzles, crocheting, gardening, camping and going out for breakfast, she also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Another big part of her life was her cats. Member of St. Bridget's R.C. Church.
Mother of William W. (Marsha) Flynn of Lockport, Shirley (Terry) Thrush of Cambria, Edward E. (Kathy) Flynn, Jr. of North Tonawanda and Donald L. (Marilyn) Flynn of Lockport. Sister of Gene Lego of Philadelphia, PA. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, on THURSDAY from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held on FRIDAY at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer's Association of WNY 2805 Wehrle Dr., STE 6 Williamsville, NY 14221-7380 would be appreciated by the family.
