Jean D. Ranney

GASPORT — Jean D. Ranney (Bozzard), age 82, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Absolut of     Gasport. Born October 10, 1929 in Alexander, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Gladys (Dandridge) Bozzard.

Jean had worked at Grants Department Store in Lockport as a sales clerk. She married Delmar Ranney, June 16, 1951, in Hunts Corners Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed doing puzzles and flower gardening. She had lived in the Lockport area her entire life.

Jean is survived by her husband, Delmar. Sister to Audrey Hanks of Michigan and Bob Bozzard of Lockport. Sister-in-law to Paul Ranney of Lockport, David (Joanne) Ranney of Akron, Robert (Ellen) Ranney of Lockport, and Melvin Ranney of Middleport. Jean is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home immediately following.Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery,       Pendleton, NY. Please sign guest register at www.sherriebreamfuneralhome.com.
