Lindy C. Mazoff, Sr., of Wilson, entered into rest on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Niagara Hospice House. Lindy was born on May 30, 1927 in Smith Mills, PA. Son of the late Jacob and Dorothy Celentano Mazoff.
Lindy served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-1948 as a Seaman 1st Class. He worked as a plumber for 42 years at Local #1 in Brooklyn, NY. Lindy enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He wintered in Florida and loved life.
Dear companion of Judith Fleming of Wilson, NY. Father of Sharon (Tim) Atkinson of Summerville, SC and Michele Alker of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Lindy C. Mazoff, Jr. Grandfather of Todd (Lisa) Alker. Great-grandfather of Jordon, Ethen and Elijah.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108 on SUNDAY 2-7 PM, where funeral service will be held on MONDAY at 11 AM. Burial will be held in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY.
