Allan Harry Chapman

LOCKPORT — Allan Harry Chapman passed away February 6, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport on November 12, 1927, he was the son of Albert and Katherine (Goodenough) Chapman. Harry served in the US Army from 1946 to 1949, and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. He worked for Harrison Radiator for 43 years where he retired as a model maker in 1992. Harry was predeceased by his wife, Joann Chapman, on December 5, 2003.

Harry is survived by his children, Richard (Cynthia) Chapman of Lockport, Scott (Karen) Chapman of Huntsville, AL, and Cynthia (Bob) Aiken of DelMar, NY; grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of three; brother of George (Eileen) Chapman of Lockport and the late Albert (late Jean) Jr. and John (Mary Ann) Chapman; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, Feb. 8th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 9th, at 10 AM.   Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
