Eleanor L. Poole, of Newfane, wife of Ira M. Poole, entered into rest Friday, January 4, 2013 in Newfane Rehab & Health. Eleanor was born in Wilson, NY on August 15, 1927. Daughter of the late Clarence and Martha Zastrow Belschner.
Eleanor worked at the Lockport Felt Company for 28 years. She enjoyed bowling, camping and fishing.
Mother of Gerald (Bonnie) Poole of Newfane, Ira E. (Marie) Poole of Newfane, and Barbara Herring of Wilson. Sister of Pearl (Herbert) Dixon of Wilson and the late Lester Belschner. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108, on TUESDAY from 6-9 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in North Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to one's choice.
