Mark A. Mattucci

PORT CHARLOTTE, FL — Mark A. Mattucci, 53, entered into rest on March 10, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, FL, of end stage renal failure.

Born August 31, 1959 in Lockport, NY, he was the son of Karen J. Mattucci and the late Albert A. Mattucci, Jr.

Mr. Mattucci attended Lockport Senior High School and attended Everest University online for a degree in business management. He was a Superintendent of Residential and Commercial Construction for over 30 years in the Denver, CO and Buffalo, NY area.

Mr. Mattucci was an avid photographer and master woodcraftsman. He enjoyed fishing,     drawing and writing poetry. He was an active member of the National Kidney Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Mr. Mattucci is survived by his wife, Susan (Dee Vitale) Mattucci of Englewood, FL; son, Justin (Rose) Santana and his granddaughter; his stepson, Joseph (Danielle) Vitale of Englewood, FL, and predeceased by his stepdaughter, Daniella Debennedetto, also of Englewood; two sisters, Paula Jean Mattucci of Depew, NY and Sheryl (Luis Ortiz) Mattucci of Lockport, NY; and his brother, Matt (Lisa) Mattucci and nephew, Tyler Mattucci of Kenmore, NY; his best friend whom he called "his older brother" of 40 years, Jeff Patterson of Japan; aunt and uncle, Marcia (Jim) Giegerich of Gasport, NY and his uncle, the late Larry Lake of Denver, CO; and many cousins.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
