Robert T. Williams

LOCKPORT —  

Robert T. Williams, son of Norbert John and Albertine Williams, born on February 26, 1939, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife, Charleen (Emery); three children, Courtney (Jeremy) O'Lay of Newfane ,David Williams of Lockport and Matthew Williams (Alexandra Larkin) of Buffalo; two sisters, Patricia (Leonard) Rounds of Newfane and Marilyn Carney (James Carney) of Olcott; a twin brother, Bruce Williams (Dale Nikitas) of Somerset; and three grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, and Nathan O'Lay.
Bob retired from General Motors in 1998, after 39 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was proud of bowling a 300 game and having a hole-in-one in the same year. He also loved watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events.
A memorial service will be held at St. Brendan On-the-Lake, 3455 Ewings Road, in Newfane, at Noon on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Memorials may be made to Miller Hose Fire Company, 6161 McKee Street, Newfane, NY.
