Sharon J. Hall, of Lockport, wife of Richard Hall, entered into rest Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Newfane Rehab and HHC. Sharon was born on September 29, 1936 in Batavia, NY. Daughter of the late Cyrus and Charlotte Oatway Palmer. Richard and Sharon married on October 13, 1956. She worked as a cashier at Tops Market in Lockport, NY. Sharon enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also was a member of the Lockport Badgers Camping group.
Mother of Diane Davis of Lockport, NY and Rose (Daniel) LaQuay of Cattaragus, NY. Grandmother of Jason and Allison Davis and Joy and Luke LaQuay. Great-grandmother of Courtney Johnson, Kelly Strauser and Hailey Dell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, step-brothers and one step-sister.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A private memorial service will be held on Friday at Lynhaven Cemetery.
