Nelson C. Snow, of Newfane, husband of Lila Schultz Snow, entered into rest on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport, NY. Son of the late Harry and Lillian Thorne Snow. Nelson was born on June 27, 1920 in Buffalo, NY. Nelson and Lila were married on February 5, 1955 in Concordia Lutheran Church. He worked at Harrison Radiator for 34 years and retired in 1974. Nelson served in the U.S. Army Air Force for three years.
Father of Marian (Randy) Roeseler of Lockport, NY, Rosemarie Abrams of Lockport, NY, Howard (Kathy) Snow of Lancaster, NY, Charles (Esther) Snow of Lockport, NY and the late Audrey Snow. Brother of David Snow of Lockport, NY and Winifred Herman of Ocala, Florida. Grandfather of John and Elisa Roeseler, Nina Kropp, Andrew and Katlyn Snow. He also had three great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108 on MONDAY from 2-5 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Peters Church Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094 on TUESDAY at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery following the funeral service.
