Eneida Rodriguez

LOCKPORT — Eneida (Bonilla) Rodriguez, age 83, of Lockport, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, has gone to be with the Lord on May 1, 2012, after a brief illness at Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born on January 6, 1929 in San German, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Jusino and Angelina Rosa Bonilla.

A homemaker, she was married to the late Ramon Medina Rodriguez for 23 years and has lived in Lockport since 1992. She was formerly employed at Fisher-Price in Medina and retired after 20 years of service. Eneida was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Medina. She enjoyed reading, gardening and she loved cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving her are three children, Ramon (Teresa) Rodriguez of Lockport, Jaime (Diana) Rodriguez of Dunkirk and Jeanette (Willie) Santos of Lockport; eight grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Rodriguez, Maria (Adam) Skinner, Alisia Rodriguez, Edwin, Victoria and Marissa Santos and Elisa and Cristopher Rodriguez; three great-grandchildren, Ayanna, Adam and Jalen Skinner; also many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, May 3, 2012, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary's Church, West Ave. Medina, NY, with the Pastor, Rev. Daniel J. Fawls celebrating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
