Suzanne M. Neilson

LOCKPORT —  

Suzanne M. Neilson passed away after a lengthy illness in Absolut of Gasport. Born in North Tonawanda on July 12, 1932, she was the daughter of Clarence J. and Wilhelmina (Noeller) Green.
Suzanne was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clarence where she was the treasurer and also belonged to the Rapids Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary and the UAW Retirees Travel Club. Suzanne enjoyed playing cards and being social, going out to eat.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Howard S. Neilson of Lockport; daughter, Ellen (Rick) Wuesthoff of Waterport; grandchildren, Marcy (Daniel) Nelson of Winchester, VA and Craig Hartl of Buffalo; great-grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, Lillie, Laura, Zachary Nelson; siblings, Robert P. (MaryLynn) Green of Kenmore and the late John R. Green, David C. Green, and Anita Rousch; sister-in-law, Marlene Green of Escondido, CA; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7700 Goodrich Road, Clarence Center, NY. Donations to the American Diabetes Association or to Roswell Park Cancer Institute would be appreciated.
