Douglas I. Yochum

LOCKPORT — Douglas I. Yochum, formerly of Wilson, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the age of 82.

Son of Frank and Florence (nee Lampson), he is survived by a brother, Donald of Florida; son, Darrell (Donna) and daughter, Denise (Norm) Orzel. Grandfather to Anthony (Tony) Orzel,     Cynthia (Pejmon) Sani-Bakhtiari, and great-grandfather to Sirus Sani-Bakhtiari. Brother of the late Dellus (Bud) and step-sister, Bonnie Lewis.

Doug and his two brothers were frequent stock-car racers in the 50 & 60s, often building their own cars.

Doug donated his body to the University at Buffalo. The family has requested that donations in his honor be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
