Jean Neuman Schultz

CHANDLER, AZ —  

Jean Neuman Schultz, age 85, passed away on Saturday, January 12th at Horizon Bay in Chandler, AZ. Jean, born in the Town of Wilson, NY on October 27, 1927, was daughter of Martin and Rose (Kneeppel) Neuman, and loving wife of the late Delbert F. Schultz. They were married on June 21, 1947.
Jean graduated from Wilson High School in 1944 and from Concordia Jr. College in 1946. She and her husband operated a farm in Wilson for 38 years. After his death in 1986, she moved to Lockport, where she worked as a personal care aid.
She is survived by four children, Susan (Thomas) Carter of Crossville, TN, Rev. Craig (Martha) of Conover, NC, Rev. Randall (Dinah) of Burton, MI, and Dorianne (Paul) Schubring of Gilbert, AZ. Her grandchildren include Staci (Kevin) Potter, Kyle (Erin) Carter, Laura (Michael) Haley, Emily (Andrew) Smith, Rachel (Timothy) Zeithamel, Michael Schultz, Joel Schultz, David (Rachel) Schultz, Paul Ryan Schubring, Lindy Schubring, Karalyn Schubring, and Niall Schubring. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and two bothers, Paul (Ruth) Neuman, Bruce (June) Neuman. She was also sister to the late Louis (Carolyn) Neumann.
Relatives and friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday, January 25th from 7-8:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 26th at11:00 AM in St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Road, Town of Cambria. Prior visitation will begin at the church at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated, in her name, to the church or charity of one's choice.
