LOCKPORT —
Genevieve (Jean) Brockway passed away on January 8, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport after a short illness. She was born in Medina on November 26, 1914, the daughter of John and Frances McLeod Koons. Jean married Henry A. Brockway on September 8, 1934. He passed away on December 27, 1974. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, Lockport.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Adrienne (William) Crecelius of Lockport; her son, Bruce (Teri) Brockway of Sun City Center, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey P. Crecelius, Alicia (Stanley) Radosky and Kevin (Lisa Brigham) Brockway; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Winifred Zentner and Jessie Quagliana; brother, John Koons; great-granddaughter, Christina George. Jean is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, January 13th from 1-4 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
