LOCKPORT —
Larry Edward Mordue passed away on June 30, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on January 26, 1950 in Elmira, he was the son of Gloria (Sbedico) Richards and the late Edward Mordue.
Larry served in the US Navy from 1968 to 1970; and worked for UB, where he was a facilities engineer for 28 years, retiring in September 2010. He was a member of the WNY Mountain Biking Club, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed biking, camping, canoeing, reading and cooking.
Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Monika (Riedel) Mordue of North Tonawanda; father of David Mordue of Pasco, WA and Kelly (Salah) Mordue-Eldohiri of Mechanicsburg, PA; grandfather of Ben, Nicholas, Kelly, Alyssa, Ava Mordue and Abadullah, Hamza, Ismayel, Safayah, Mousa Eldohiri; brother of Thomas Mordue of St. Augustine, FL and Mark (Mary) Mordue of Muncie, IN; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Monday, July 9th at 1 PM in Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 6965 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Lockport.
