Arnold K. Bane

LOCKPORT —  

Arnold K. Bane passed away on November 5, 2012 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on September 8, 1941 in Yates, NY, he was the son of Howard and Laura (Tanner) Bane and attended Lyndonville schools.
He served in the Army Reserves from 1960-1963 and from 1963-1966 in active duty in Germany. Arnold worked for Western Block, drove taxi, Benz-O-Matic, and Wal-Mart for 14-1/2 years. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies; and his dog, Sparky.
Arnold is survived by his wife, Mary (Storms) Bane of Wilson; daughters, Laura Bane and Amy Bane, both of Wilson; grandfather of Cassy Schurr of Lockport, Samantha Schurr, Joshua, Emily and Jonathan Bane, all of Wilson; great-grandfather of Darryle Schurr of Ransomville, Aniyahe Schurr of Lockport, and James Ventura of Wilson; brother of Howard Bane of Barre Center, Robert Bane of Lyndonville, Loretta Lonnen of Waterport, Shirley Bane of Lockport and the late John Tanner, Herbert Bane, and Clara Bane; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, November 8th from 2-6 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
