Richard "Dick" Fonzi

LOCKPORT —

Richard "Dick" Fonzi entered into rest on November 4, 2012. Born on January 30, 1945 in Lockport, he was the son of Angelo and Mary (Sperduti) Fonzi.
Dick graduated from Lockport High School in 1964. He served in the US Army where he completed a full tour of duty in Vietnam. Richard loved socializing with friends and family. He was a very generous person and will be missed by all that knew him
He is survived by his nephews, Joseph (Dawn) Fonzi and Thomas (Ann) Fonzi; great-nephews, Morgan and Ryan Fonzi, and Joel and Jeffrey Schlitzer; dear friend of Richard Bugenhagen, Robert Burnor and the DeMarco family; brother of the late Anthony Fonzi. Also survived by many cousins.                                                                                                                   Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Wednesday at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets, where the funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
