Richard Carl Snyder

TOWN OF CAMBRIA — Richard Carl Snyder, age 92, of the Town of Cambria, February 9, 2013. Richard was born on December 22, 1920 in Ilion, NY. His parents were the late Leon and Rena (Bartlett) Snyder. He had worked at the Richardson Boat Co. in North Tonawanda and for Durez until his retirement in 1982.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling in his motor home and attending car races. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Beloved husband of Phyllis M. Snyder; father of Theodore (Jean) Snyder and Donna McKeown; grandfather of Wayne (Laura) Dotterweich and Richard (Gabrielle Dotterweich; great-grandfather of Patrick (Katie) Coyne, Carl, Ashley, Briana, Katherine, and Richard Carl Dotterweich; brother of Raymond Snyder and the late Floyd, Donald, and Paul Snyder.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Tuesday from 12 Noon to 1 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1 PM. The Rev Karl Haeussler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
