Rose M. Knox

MIDDLEPORT —  

Rose M. Knox of Middleport, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Knox was born in Medina, NY, on April 24, 1935, daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Delasandro) Fidanza.
Mrs. Knox has lived in the Middleport-Medina area all of her life. She was a graduate of Medina High School and was employed by the Social Security Administration until retirement. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and she enjoyed her family, golfing, was an avid exerciser and she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by siblings, Ruth Young, Elvia Harris, Nino Fidanza, Vince Fidanza, Frank Fidanza, Peter Fidanza, Joseph Fidanza, Frances Natale. She is survived by a son, Michael J. (Jill) Knox of Rochester; one daughter, Pamela A. (Michael) Eaton of Medina; five grandchildren, Sasha Rose Knox, Megan Sweeney, Zackary Sweeney, Gavin Eaton and Olivia Eaton; her sister, Susan (Richard) Curry of Gasport; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Friday at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Stephen's Church, 21 Vernon St., Middleport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Fawls. Memorials to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, Middleport, NY.
