FRANKSTON, TX —
Carol E. (Altro) Thomas Lampe Ward, of Frankston, TX, formerly of Lockport, passed away on March 21, 2012, after a brief illness. Born on September 27, 1943, to the late Harold and Wilma Altro. She was also the step-daughter of the late Ethel Boyer Altro. She graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1961. She moved to Texas in the late 1960s, where she retired from banking.
Carol is survived by her husband, Melvin T. Ward; her son, Douglas (Tammy) Thomas; and daughter, Carrie Marie Thomas; four grandchildren, all of Texas. Also survived by her step-brother Ray (Linda) Boyer of Lockport and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, PIano TX.
