Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Niagara County Sheriff's Department investigators are looking into an incident Tuesday morning that sent a man to Erie County Medical Center suffering from a stab wound.
The incident occurred just a few minutes after 11 a.m. near 6493 Dysinger Road.
Deputies were informed that a man had been stabbed in the kidney by a female suspect who then fled. She was quickly found at 6493 Dysinger Road, Apt. 6.
The suspect was transported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Her alleged vicitm was transported by Rapids Ambulance to ECMC's trauma center.
Deputies recovered a knife at the scene.
All three Niagara County K-9 units were on location, and State Police responded to the scene as well.
