LOCKPORT —
The victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Willow Street on Saturday was identified by Lockport Police as Richard Boye, 46.
Boye was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head after a six-hour standoff with Lockport Police, State Police, the Niagara Falls Sheriff’s Department and the K9 Unit of the North Tonawanda Police.
The elderly woman who was found in the apartment and taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport by the Lockport Fire Department Rescue Unit was not identified. According to the police, she was in an emaciated condition when found.
Boye was armed with more than one gun, according to the police.
