CAMBRIA TOWN BOARD: Blackman, Roberts win; Kroening out

CAMBRIA — Veteran Robert E. Blackman and newcomer Randy M. Roberts won the two seats on the Cambria Town Board on Tuesday, with Incumbent Debra L. Kroening coming in a close third.

Blackman got 718 votes to lead the three candidates and Roberts received 483 votes. Kroening got 441 votes.

Blackman and Roberts won the Republican primary. Kroening was third in the GOP primary, but carried the Independence and Conservative banners into the election.

Kroening won a four-year term on the Republican ticket four years ago. Blackman, a fifth-generation farmer in Cambria, will serve his fifth four-year term.
