A Medina man was formally charged in Lockport City Court on Monday with sexual abuse.
Ritchard P. Baldwin, 19, was arraigned before Judge William J. Watson on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Donatello said.
Lockport Police Officer Travis Mapes said Baldwin was arrested on felony sexual abuse in August 2008, charged with having sexual contact with a juvenile to whom he is related.
Mapes said Baldwin was arrested Oct. 28 after admitting to his probation officer that he had sexually abused two more juvenile victims in the City of Lockport. “Baldwin will be in Niagara County Court for a pretrial,” Mapes said, but no court date is set yet.
“Both victims are under the age of 11,” Mapes said.
Baldwin, 106 Manilla Place, Medina, is currently in custody at the Niagara County Jail without bail, Mapes said.
