The Lockport Fire Department has identified the victim of Tuesday’s fatal fire as Yvette Thornton, 56, who died in the blaze at her home on 6 Carolina Ave.
City firefighters had entered the burned out back of the house looking for the victim Tuesday night. The house was fully engulfed in flames.
More information will be released pending autopsy results.
