Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Residents escape Crosby Road fire unharmed
Residents of a Crosby Road home escaped a house fire Friday without injury.
The Niagara County Dispatch received a 911 call about a chimney fire at 6054 Crosby Road in the Town of Lockport. The Sheriff’s Office responded at about 7:13 p.m. Friday, but when rescue responded the fire had spread to the rest of the house, particularly the upstairs bedroom.
Rapids Fire Co., with assistance from South Lockport and Clarence Center Fire Cos., put the fire out. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the Niagara County Fire Investigators. A damage estimate was not available by press time.
