A Ransomville man is facing a criminal nuisance charge after he allegedly alarmed his neighbors by running down the street with a shotgun.
Christopher M. Krisher, 49, 204 Maple St., was charged Saturday night with second-degree criminal nuisance.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Dorwood Park trailer park about 9:31 p.m. Saturday for a report of a man running down the street, waving a shotgun and yelling.
Several people reportedly told deputies the man, later identified as Krisher, lived at 204 Maple St.
Patrol units surrounded Krisher’s trailer and contacted him by phone. He was told to leave the trailer with his hands in the air, the report said.
Krisher reportedly complied and was taken into custody without incident.
Another resident of the trailer was also secured, but was released without charges, the report said.
Deputies reportedly searched the trailer and did not find any firearms.
Krisher was held in lieu of $250 bail. He is due today in Wilson Town Court.
