Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union is announcing plans for a new branch located at 721 Center St. in Lewiston. This latest branch will open in January 2013.
Cornerstone CFCU is a not-for-profit, member-owned, credit union. Those who live, work, worship, volunteer or attend school in Niagara Country are eligible to join. The branch will be the fifth Cornerstone CFCU location in Niagara County, joining two branches in Lockport and one each in Middleport and North Tonawanda.
“With the Lewiston branch, we have extended our reach to all four corners of Niagara County, effectively providing more residents with the opportunity to enjoy lower fees and better rates,” said Ann Brittin, president and CEO of Cornerstone. “By joining an already thriving cultural community, we are committed to serving not only our members, but the area and surrounding neighborhoods of Lewiston as well.”
Cornerstone is the largest credit union based in Western New York with more than 46,000 members and assets in excess of $319 million.
